Our Story
Brief HistoryNortheast was initially started on March of 1994 in a local hotel conference room. The church was restarted on March 28, 1999 after Pastor McPhail recovered from cancer and was lead by God. Northeast is currently a member of the Gwinnett Metro Baptist Association.Pastor Gerald J. McPhailBorn in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Pastor McPhail was ordained to the Gospel Ministry on February 2, 1992. He graduated from Pfeiffer College with a BA in 1982; UNC Chapel Hill with a MPA in 1985 and Luther Rice Seminary with an M. Div. in 2001. He married his wife, Althea H. McPhail on April 6, 1985. Pastor McPhail is a member of Regents at Luther Rice Seminary University.
